I know FDR, Lincoln, TR, Jefferson and Washington are going to appear a lot, so I'll go with one of the lesser known ones.
James Polk. He is one of the few (by some accounts the only one) presidents who upheld every single one of his campaign promises. He essentially added the entire Southwest and secured the Oregon Territory (his additions were second only to Jefferson's). He also added Texas and California Territory to the Union.
On top of that he introduced postage stamps, opened the US Naval Academy, the Smithsonian and the Washington Monument. In addition, he created the Department of the Interior and oversaw one of the most successful wars (from an American standpoint) in US History.
