Liberals show a greater gap between explicit attitudes and implicit attitudes and behavior than do conservatives. While highly educated white parents tend to have liberal explicit attitudes on racial issues, a recent study shows that these same highly educated whites seek out schools that are racially segregated and are more likely to live in racially segregated neighborhoods.
In other words, there is a positive correlation between the average education of white parents and the likelihood that parents will remove their children from public schools as the percentage of black students increases.
the way I took your post was, that when liberals are losing an arguement, they bring out words like racist and sexist to shut up a situation they know they would have lost if they would have continued.
"Come on, stop the selective reading and cutting/pasting."
Stop cutting and pasting the point that was germane to my comment? Why would I do that?
"Their children should be able to get a good education at a neighborhood school and not have to ride buses crisscrossing the city to find equality in educational opportunity."
Now one has a problem with that, the question which remains unsolved, and which is totally irrelevant to the Obamas, is how.
