It may well be what the bulk of 'stuff' obsessed America has come down to but I'd hardly call it civilized.

I say, find out who the first 100 idiots were (many of them must have paid by credit card that day), have them all brought before a court where the judge, as punishment, will have warning posters up to beware not to act like a fool like they did. And all the people that stepped on and killed the poor employee definitely need some jail or public service time...maybe working at that walmart at the front entrance next black friday. I'm sure by the date stamped sale records/time stamps they can find out who the first numbers of people in were.

What time they got to the register doesn't necessarily correspond to what time they came through the door.

However, there must have been security cameras rolling, and anyone who just trampled that poor person and kept going should be held accountable. You know when you're stepping on a person and not the floor. How callous can you be to step on someone and then go shopping?

Now, the pregnant woman might have had some idea of a possible rampage. She should be grilled on her irresponsible behaviour.

Excellent idea.....and make them shout "I have ONE coupon left for an additional 50% off,FIRST COME,FIRST SERVED!!!!" That would get them a bit of payback the "ol' School" way.

WTF are these idiots thinking...that getting $20 off a digital camera is worth killing this man over? I hope that they're all on camera and that they get the book tossed at them for being such raging greedy morons.

I am only surprised it has not happened in this country before.

We need to find a different way to handle Black Friday.

And don't get me started on social psychology, commercialism of Christmas, or common decency.

I feel sorry for the workers that have to deal with all these hordes of greedy, rude people for not much more than minimum wage.

Especially in such a period of economic uncertainty, it makes no sense to me that people would be trampling each other to get $4 off at Wal-Mart. And these things will be just as cheap on December 26th after nobody's buying them anymore...
