Anarchists' fury fuels Greek riots | csmonitor.com

Here's an article about the riots in Greece that occurred over a police shooting a teen. It mentions how certain neighborhoods in Athens are off limits basically to law enforcement. I'm not saying the officers were justified inthe shooting, not enough details about the event have been revealed, whether for example the suspect pulled a weapon or acted suspiciously.

But I'm unnerved by all this happening in Europe, what happened in Greece and also the repeated rioting in France. For example Paris saw two major sets of riots in recent years by illegal Muslim immigrants against the police. In the Greece case, both sides were native Greeks.

The article mentions how the police are challenged in their efforts to combat the anarchist and socialist radical organizations because of public sentiment. I fear similar things happening in America as the election of Barack Hussein Obama to the White House has spearheaded left wing trends in our country. The next decade could be dominated by the far left wing of the Democratic Party that Barack Obama is part of. I'm an American born and bred minority, raised by immigrant parents and I have a more middle American mindset. I'm unnerved by the Obama rallies and the radicalism and downright racism even expressed by illegal Mexican immigrants during all those protests. I fear that we've also gotten to a point where America will erupt in chaos and violence if we actually become serious about cracking down against the illegal aliens.

Now unlike Greece and France, America's illegal alien and Mexican gangs are heavily armed with guns and not just homemade firebombs. Soem have links to drug cartels in Mexican border towns. Some have access to illegal weapons. At the same time we still have our traditional ghettos. I'm a student living in downtown Baltimore in nice student housing but the ghettos is only 2 blocks away. Any day, a white cop may screw up and shoot a black teen by accident and this city can burn itself down. We've seen it happen already in LA back in 92 and also to a lesser extent in Cincinnati and Toledo, Ohio. We all saw the rampaging and lawlessness in New Orleans after Katrina. Here in Baltimore in recent years we've already seen 4 ghetto teenagers rob a man and beat him to death. The heaviest sentence for them was 20 years. We've also seen a hate crime where a young white woman was attacked and severely beaten by inner city high school kids on a bus. There's a lot of instability in our country.

I can't help but see the news from France and Greece on the news and wonder if it can happen here. It can happen the next time the police shoot someone. It can happen if God forbid we start treating illegals like they're actually ILLEGAL. I did not like Bush's decisions regarding Iraq but the past decades of Republican and moderate Democrat control has given us some stability. I think the road ahead is increasingly dangerous and uncertain.

A lot of us are wondering the same thing. Many claim 2009 is going to get rough. We're already seeing protesting picking up here due to angered employees. We all need to pay attention. JMO.

We also have the children of illegal immigrants aka anchor babies all over the U.S. I've met a girl whose parents were illegals from El Salvador and she arrogantly said flat out that she deserves to get public assitance (she got pregant when in high school.)

I think we have reason to be concerned seeing these trends from around the world. Look what 10 gunmen did in India. Now imagine if something happens...let's say the LAPD shoots a Mexican teen mistakening him for a gang member, or a racist individual shoots illegals on the border. And in response 200 or 300 illegal gang members armed with guns fan across Los Angeles attacking Rodeo Drive, Century City, Santa Monica and the Staples Center.

Why not?.

After all, we spread our chaos to Europe and Asia by selling the poor bastards toxic securities and fraudulently packaged loans.

And now if you'll excuse me; they're about to open bidding on a Senate seat for the state of Illinois and I wanna snap that sucker up!

"Anarchists" is code for non-Greeks, immigrants, etc. etc.

This is similar to when they calling the rioters in France, "French youths" when they are anything but the sort. Why aren't they accurate: Muslim youths, Morrocan youths, Alegerian youths, African youths................anything but French.

This thread's story is really about the failures of multi-culturalism.

We already have problems in the United States, every single one of our major cities has gang problems that dwarf what we are talking about in Greece.

I agree with Tom Lennox.
