In exclusive interview, he says he plans to be sworn in like every other president, using his full name: Barack Hussein Obama.

Barack Obama says his presidency is an opportunity for the U.S. to renovate its relations with the Muslim world, starting the day of his inauguration and continuing with a speech he plans to deliver in an Islamic capital.

Past time we stopped treating the entire Muslim world as a resource colony for the West. We should be exporting the concept of democratic republics to these people not tolerance of the feudal nightmares they live under. The Muslim people are not our enemies but the Kings, Princes, Sheiks and Sultans ruling them certainly are.

I don't know what the muslim population is in America, but I think it's great that Obama is embracing his middle name. It shows respect for his family history.

He got the jobs. If he wants to swathe himself in his personal bubbling ego let 'im at it. You might be able to catch a good movie on Turner classics. I know I will. Or stroking my own ego to some bootylicious internet porn.

That's great news!

We won't be able to kill every terrorist in the world, when one dies a few more take his place. The only way is to change their ideaology. To show all the ones on the fence that hey, America isn't this evil, sinful country and their people for the most part actually want to live their lives in peace and not dictate how others live. Will this stop terrorism, no, but it WONT hurt our image any more in the Muslim World, it may very well help.

What a disappointment. I'll miss the presiddnt who just writes a billion people off as terrorists and is willing to blow them all away with the flick of a switch.

eh, don't waste your energy believing it.

Obama has been fully vetted by AIPAC and the Israel Lobby. American Jews were huge financial backers of his, and Obama has already appointed many Zionist-Americans to positions in his government.

DO NOT expect much change from the policies of Bush, who was under the same influence from his side, the Neocons.

Anyone here who thinks there is a bit of difference between Rahm Emanuel and the Neocon crowd should study up more.

Lastly, Obama appointed war-hawk Hillary Clinton (voted for the war, never apoligized) as Sec. of State!!! Obama has kept Gates on. Obama wants to increase troop presence in Afghan/Paki.

More of the same.

I hate to say it but maybe Obama is the "house negro" of the estabilished order, whether it be Neocon or Liberal-hawks, they are the same, totally consistent, and have fealty to israel's interests in mind.

If Likud’s “Bibi” Netanyahu wins the Israeli election, he will push hard for U.S. air strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites, and push back against any Obama deal with Tehran.

With the Israeli lobby and a Jewish community that gave Barack 80 percent of its votes, plus the neocons and Evangelical right calling for strikes against Iran’s nuclear sites, would the Obama-Clinton team stand united — against war?

Would Hillary, a former senator from New York who relied even more heavily than Barack on Jewish contributions and votes, stand by Barack if the two disagree on whether the survival of Israel is at stake?

If Israel feels they are at risk they will strike Iran they do not need nor will wait for anyones permission. Obama nor Hillary have any say so.

America wont strike Iran because our troops are next door but Israel isnt going to wait another 3 yrs plus if they think no more time to wait ESP if Netanyahu wins .

The current Israeli PM seems weak.
