more republicans are moderates like more democrats are liberals.
there is very few of the democrat party that would even come close to the ideals of JFK.
these days JFK would be considered a conservative with his ideals and not a democrat. that is how much our country has changed in the last 40 years.
its too much to get into; maybe your right about jfk and todays standards but that would also mean that many republicans prior to the 60's would be democrats today......
the thing is people dont explain the changes they try to make people think the ideologies havent change and make people think southern democrats were always liberal in thinking

Taking things out of context and defending corruption are two big no-nos in the world of politics. This does not warrant discussion, and if I didn't know any better, this would be borderline trolling. By the sounds of it, this is actually an example of Democrats distorting the truth . I keep forgetting that corruption and lies are acceptable when it comes from the left .

I read this today in the Daily News, I thought it merited some discussion. I think the writer sums it up quite well.
"The Story: "Republicans go bonkers on Obama after Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich is charged with corruption. Republican National Committee chairman Mike Duncan rants, "Given the President elect's history of supporting and advising (the governor), he has a responsibility to speak out and fully address the issue."
In other words: "Of course I know Bam never heard of this whole scandal, but what the heck, they're both from Illinois and thats good enough for us. We're calling for a do-over presidential election so we can run ads unfairly tying him to the mess and vote McCain in. Sarah! Unpack that dress!"
How do you figure all that from what you quote Duncan as saying. Maybe I'm missing some thing here or this is being taken out of context and there's more to it but, from what you quoted him as saying, you're the only one distorting the truth. All he said was he has that he needs to address what happened. It doesn't accuse him of any wrong doing but, he just needs to say something publically regarding it, even if it's just to clear his name....after all, it is his seat that's being vacated and Blagojevich is on tape calling Obama a mother****er like they've argued or something Obama said he's looking into it and making sure none of his staff was talking to him as well....like he should be.

To attempt to prosecute Bush at such a time of war would severely increase terrorist organizational involvement, increase the chance that more anti american militia groups could and would be formed, thus exposing the American government as vulnerable, inadequate and unraveling. Which in turn would jeopardize the safety of American people even further by the hands of our enemies and ourpotential enemies.
