I am sorry the church was burned, and I pray that no supporter of Obama did it. However, no candidate has control over the wackos that sometimes choose to follow him or her. Most followers of either party and their candidates are normal, sane people. The wackos and idiots on both sides get the attention, unfortunately. (Hoping that I am a sane supporter of the slight left.)

I'm glad noone was injured. And clearly arson is horrible.
I do think that this could easily be the work of some nutjob, or the good reverend looking to cash in either with publicity or with insurance.
Then again, it could be the work of one of the fanatical Palin haters.
Or it could have been the work of a local punk; Wasilla has more than it's share. It doesn't, however, have many "liberals" so I wouldn't be too quick to try to hang the blame on the "demoncrats". It also isn't uncommon for fires to occur in AK this time of year as heating systems get cranked up. Whoever it was, I do hope they catch the person; it's my understanding that five women were in the building at the time doing crafts.

Always good to hear from you Metlakatla, you're a voice of reality.

It probably was arson of some kind, even someone throwing a cig. out a car window. Could have been a meth lab blowing up--it's Wasilla, after all. But for Palin to try to make it about herself and infer what she inferred in her statement...she's just trying to get attention, that's all. It was very likely an act of petty vandalism that had nothing to do with her. Not everything does, you know.

I wouldn't be shocked if she had "Tadd" do it to get her a bit more FAUX coverage.

God only knows that it couldn't be a case of domestic violence seeing how there were a number of women in the Church at the time.

Maybe the daughter's boyfriend trying to throw up a SMOKESCREEN (sorry, I was just going to write "distraction") so he can make his getaway.

Or as movingforward's husband said, "burning witches and the fire got out of hand.
