Be of good cheer - he's here in video form, teaching us how to make the February transition from analog to digital.
Joe Wurzelbacher, better known as Joe the Plumber, has partnered with [store name] to help you with the transition from Analog-to-Digital television. Check back often for new videos from Joe where he'll not only show you how to set up your DTV converter, but he'll also explain the public safety benefits the transition provides to all Americans.

Perhaps there will be a Joe the Plumber cartoon next year (to be followed shortly by a series of coloring books, and if they sell well, a movie! The man will be able to extend his 15 minutes of fame almost indefinitely--although only schoolchildren will know him...and as a slightly goofy character, at that).

I'm just sorry there wasn't a Joe the Plumber action hero doll out for Christmas this year

Actually this is pretty bright way to start building a political resume - he's teaching something ( = smart) and guiding the confused ( = all the base) - maybe he's plotting a Senate or House run. Gotta do something with that name recognition.

Default Joe the Plumber and Sarah Palin...

... The GOP's new intellectual brain trust.

I sincerely hope that they're the leading figures for the GOP for the next couple of decades.
