I was in an airport and my flight was cancelled...I was in a 45 min long line to get a new ticket, and when I was finally next in line, a woman (who happened to be black) cut in front of me. I politely told her there was a line and we have all been waiting 45 minutes. She then told me that I was only saying that because she was black.

The ticket agent (who also happened to be black) then told her to get to the end of the line. Funny - the lady didn't cry racism when another black person told her the exact same thing that I did.

Yes. Whenever I express opposition to the current president's policies.

Sadly, this isn't surprising. The history of race relations might have something to do with this. I think this particular woman may have had a negative view towards Whites in general, and therefore, less trust. Kind of sad.

Yeah, dunno if you'd call it "racism" exactly, but I've had my 2nd gen italian ancestry and olive complexion occasionally confused with being a "mez-kin", where along with the usual dose of "attitude" I've heard some rude comments just barely within earshot. It's rare, and always seems to happen in some rural redneck town (aka "white ghetto"), where probably any sort of "different" or "ain't like us" attracts attention.

In other words, the woman was perfectly happy to use race as a weapon in order to fulfill her own selfish needs. Regular Bull Connor type stuff.

And you are perfectly happy to act as an apologist for racism, or at the very least, extreme rudeness coupled with race baiting.

Grow up pal. And study up on manners, decorum, and the true meaning of the word, "Equality." Finally, consult a copy of Aesop's Fables and read "The Boy Who Cried Wolf."

Gotta Love It!!!! "The history of race relations made me do it!"

Racism aimed at me, yes. Probably like anyone else, the people exhibiting the racism towards me were hostile and angry. I've never expressed racism towards anyone, prob because its not in my nature, so it catches me off guard when someone expresses it towards me or the few people I knew who expressed it towards others.

I was not being an apologist. I was simply stating that the history of race relations in the USA makes people not trust each other. Many White people do not trust Whites and many Blacks do not trust Whites. I even mentioned it was kind of sad that people think like this.

I actually saw a guy mistreat a guy who he thought was an Arab (in Erick, Oklahoma) and it made me so angry that i could've choked the guy. Thank God the proprietor of the business stepped in before my needle hit the redline.

The only racism I've encountered has been against white males. I have not personally been attacked in anyway, but I have been witness to it.
