The point is that nothing The Goreacle and his minions have predicted are even close to coming to fruition. Exactly the opposite is happening - which of course makes him and his accolades look like the fools there truly are.
The hoax is coming apart at the seams.
It remains hard for me to understand how a scientific view more than 100 years old is the invention of a man two years younger than me. I know this makes perfect sense to you and your ilk. It just doesn't make sense to me.
In 1987 the Montreal Protocol, an international environmental agreement, established requirements that began the worldwide phaseout of ozone-depleting CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons). These requirements were later modified, leading to the phaseout in 1996 of CFC production in all developed nations. In addition, a 1992 amendment to the Montreal Protocol established a schedule for the phaseout of HCFCs (hydrochlorofluorocarbons). HCFCs are less damaging to the ozone layer than CFCs, but still contain ozone-destroying chlorine. The Montreal Protocol as amended is carried out in the U.S. through Title VI of the Clean Air Act, which is implemented by EPA.
It's has a ODP of .5 or half of CFC's. While I'm sure it would be hard for you to understand the amount of R-22 that's out there I'll give you a basic idea. Each apt unit would contain from around 5lbs - 8lbs. (It's totally up to the length of the line set run could be more but that's conservative). There are 37,469,000 rental units or 32% of the US housing. Assuming only 25% don't have R-22 (conservative) based air conditioning that leaves us with 28.1 million units or at minimum 70,250 tons of refrigerant for apt's alone. There are 79.35 million owner based homes or 68% of US households. If only 50% of those have R-22 based systems or 39,675,000 million homes or 99,187.5 tons of R-22.
Now how many people do you think willingly had their system changed out for an evironementally friendly system? I can tell ya not many. The majority of the calls that people finally call in are almost always related to refrigerant and it's almost always completely empty. Unless it's a pin hole leak and the person calls immidiately. Most people don't want to pay for a service company until it either just doesn't come on or it's not cooling anymore. So with probably a minumum (since we didn't even include industry because it's better managed and inspected maintained) of around 170,000 tons of R-22 I wouldn't say we are out of the water. If you can convince homeowners to stop "recharging" and call problems in immidiately feel free. That's been a mission for a while in the HVAC/R field but it's not precieved as a good thing but one of money grubbing, why do I need my system serviced, you are trying to rip me off..etc... Go figure...
I want ... nay DEMAND some Global Warming RIGHT NOW, it's cold outside and my heating bill is killing me! Mr. Bore Gore, continue to talk the planet is cooling off.

Again, the point is the natural, cyclical fluctuations (ie, cooling and warming) of the Earth that has nothing whatsoever to do with man.

Right, but those "natural fluctuations" are fairly well known and understood. It's sad when I hear the deniers say "They forgot the role of water vapor!" "They overlooked the sunspot cycle"
Oh, I think not!
But it does take an intergalactic God-complex to suggest they need bloggers and forum posters to point it out to them.
