Typical double standards.

No kidding!

Apparently it's okay for homosexuals to be openly hateful and destructive, but if somebody so much as looks at them wrong, they scream "Hate Crime!!!!".

Go figure.

Nope if you look closer at the pictures it's Church Sign Generator It's rather obvious. If you read my posts I said "IF" a church put up a sign like that. I didn't say they were real signs.

Lot's of fun for all the kiddies.

Here's another one...

Or perhaps you are really unobservant. If I'd wanted to be dishonest to make people think they were real I could have photoshopped out the logo of the website quite easily. Instead I left it there for anyone to see.

I was curious to see what people consider hate speech and if there is a line that can be crossed.

To those people offended by those signs, think how offended gays feel every time some Christian calls them an abomination or a pervert or compares homosexuality to paedophilia or bestiality or campaigns against anti-discrimination laws based on sexual orientation so they can legally discriminate against gay people. Or campaigns against civil unions or adoption. Even worse, is when a minister/pastor/priest preaches blatant lies about homosexuality under the guise of religious freedom and freedom of speech.

I don't approve of what the person/s did to that church wall. It was vandalism.

Just as I don't approve of any church or church leader who use their position of power and influence to preach what I consider hate speech about homosexuality.

Hmmm.. I wonder why someone would make a church sign generator other than to spread misinformation about churches.... Hmmmm.. Real brain teaser here.

I'm going to make a gay activist sign generator and see how much I can defame gays... Tit for tat... fun for all the kiddies...

I consider hate speech something spoken to purposeful insight hatred... I think that may even be the definition. I'm not going to give examples as I think everyone is more than capable of filling in blanks. Of course it could be something written on a church sign that doesn't even exist sighting things like "stone'em"

Both seem pretty bad to me.

Knock yourself out. There's already so much defamation about gays especially by some churches and church members, a little more would be a drop in the bucket. Thank goodness for the gay friendly churches and Christians.

Who knows? Maybe it was some anti-gay bunch who vandalised that church trying to set up the blame on gays. Your mind seemed to work that way very easily didn't it? Who's to say someone else wasn't thinking the same way as you?

Local gay people would have known the church was gay friendly so I don't know why they would do it. I'm guessing it could have been some hotheaded angry idiots (gay or not) who don't give a stuff about defacing other people's property and were looking for a target for their "(self)righteous" anger. I hope they get caught. And if they are gay, I would be even more pissed off with them.

No churches are spreading hate towards gays. Just because they don't believe in homosexuality does not mean they hate you....wasn't it the left screaming so loud about everything is not black and white for us or against us. Although if both sides are not willing to give an inch you can't really expect any change. Civil unions was giving an inch...homosexuals now want the whole foot. Who knew compromise meant all or nothing.

I wouldn't start a gay activist sign generator it was an example of the intentions behind the creation of the church sign generator.

I know you know you're being rather silly with that statement and don't really believe it.

Bless you... and Go in Peaces.

Ever seen an anti-homosexual preach speech by an anti-gay over-the-top evangelical preacher where they work up the crowd?

See the expressions on many of the church members' faces? That's self-righteous "God-sanctioned" anger just eager for a target. That's hate.

Check out the gazillion anti-gay youtube videos - so many of these people have obvious hatred on their faces and in their voices, and use The Christian God and the Bible to justify their hatred of gays. Even if these people aren't what you might call "Christians" - the message is coming originally from different churchs' "interpretations" of the Christian Bible about homosexuality.

I'd call that inciting hate wouldn't you? It's sickening.
