Guess what.. I paid TAXES on those diapers

Good thing politicians see the genious in the tax deduction more sot than you do!!

What do you think families do with that extra tax break or tax return at the end of the year.. Soem save it.. some use it to GO ON VACATION.. which .. oh.. guess what.. creates an income for someone else by the families BUSINESS!!

A CYCLE... want a tax break.. have kids.. don't want them.. fine.. don't have them! But by not having kids, you're not creating another consumer.. yes...they can't pay their own way.. their parents do. I wouldn't be buying as much groceries, etc. if I didn't have a child and that would be a lot less product I was purchasing and thereby consuming ..

Cut out spending.. cut down on spending and look what happens.. just look at what is happening in the economy today as people are tightening their belt.. ALL people, mind you.. but you get the point.

Now.. that is off topic.. there was another thread on that very subject months ago.. you can go there and argue it if you'd like.

Nowhere in ANY of your articles does it even REMOTELY imply that we are all being forced to purchase and have a microchip

A company was given approval to MARKET it meaning you can buy it and have it if you want.. or not if you don't.

Sounds like it's coming from a group of paranoids.. the article..

And it helps work toward their deficit
No state can tax it's way into prosperity.

The reality is they have to spend within their means. Like everybody else.

The govt mentality is "more money = more ways to dispense it and get re-elected".

OK lets try this example...It may tie with several other posts so sorry. Unprotected sex, hetero/homo/bi can lead to any number of std's including AIDs. This disease in particular has cost tax/ins payers millions of dollars. Would you then suggest that anyone who gets AIDS should be penalized for their choices??? Don't get me wrong! I dislike haveing to pay for others folks ingnorance as well but I don't see how a law/tax/penalty as suggested will work. Will you tax sugar alone or all junk food? What about all the fast food places that would close ? There's a whole big fast/junk/candy industry that would suffer.

It might lead to another tea party in Boston. And I'm not suggesting we meat there to drink tea and eat biscuits either.

THAT is a great idea. It would raise so much money we could get rid of the National deficit.

Back to the smoking in bars ban - it does take away rights. Bars could be smoking or non-smoking as the owner chooses. If it is a smoking bar, no one who objects has to walk inside. It not only takes away the rights of those who want to smoke in the bar but also takes away the right of the bar owner to decide if he will allow it in his establishment. The no smoking ban is running a lot of little Mom & Pop bars out of business.

It doesn't? Tell that to people who aren't allowed to smoke even in their own yards. I quit eight years ago myself but I think this smoking ban [bleep] has gotten out of hand in many areas when you can't smoke in your own yard. But, I digress.

One of your links said putting the microchip in criminals - I think a lot of people would support that for the better of society -- could help the police, help solve crimes, etc. After all, it would be for the better of all of us. Scary, it would be one more step toward Big Brother.
