What Bush did was authorize wiretaps without judicial review. That's illegal.

What will be an injustice is if this guy were to close his eyes for the last time with a smile on his face thinking that he had done God's work with the wars that he had started. I just pray to God that before he goes, he gets to made to see the extent of misery he and his neocons had inflict on this earth

Where is the accountability? For me, this is very disappointing; because I was truly looking forward to the Secret Service escorting Bush from the White House and being flown to Federal prison in handcuffs.
If you think Bush is bad, I'd be curious to see what you think of how obama leaves office in 4 or 8 years. You might be a kool-aid drinker, so you'll still be giddy....but my guess is that obama's neglect is going to cause more issues than anything Bush has done.

Adored? By who? I've never met anyone who has said that
Of course you haven't. I don't know any far-left kooks that adored Reagan.

Quote:
Reagan was a hero to the military industrial complex and millionaires/billionaires, to the rest of us, his "Trickle Down" economics was a joke, his secret wars were deadly and illegal, his spendthrift ways put our economy into a deep hole while enriching the rich and powerful.

Tell some Air Traffic Controllers he was a "friend to the working man" and get back with me.
Sometimes that's what you have to do to defeat your enemy - namely USSR. His policy toward the ruskies bankrupted and initiated the collapse of the Soviet Union - and let's not forget that wall. Reagan's economics saw the greatest expansion of revenue to the treasury up until that time.

Yeah, those ATC's were implementing an ILLEGAL strike that would have shut down the country. He did the right thing by firing the whole lot.

If there was accountability, we'd have every US president still alive sitting in Levenworth, with many senators,VPs, aides and congressmen sitting there with them. And We'd be waiting to get a new president, but it wouldn't be Obama. Or Hillary Or McCain.
People don't want honest politicians, that would be change. They'll vote against it every time.

Its funny....the lefties want to release the terrorists at gitmo by hiding behind "innocent until proven guilty". Yet these same people want to burn The President of the United States George Bush (and his wife, and his daughters) at the stake then bury the ashes and bury the shovel after that. All based on what ifs, half truths, lies, and the info they've been spoon-fed by other wacko liberal bloggers.

And I think you need to read the Constitution. America is based on the separation and balance of powers. What country are you living in?

I mean ... besides that fantasy world that you're comment indicates.
