Default Biggest Liars!!

Which party do you think are the biggest liars? IMO I think the both do their fair share of lying.

What are your thoughts?

If you can't lie well...then you're not suited for politics...

Both. If I looked up every Congressional scandal from the past eight years, I bet the number of Democrats vs. Republicans would be about equal. And just general lying, I would assume that's about the same.

As if that means anything. Their fealty is sworn to whichever PACs and corporations keep them in office and fund their pet projects. It's a "you-scratch-my-back-I'll scratch-yours" game. There might be a few who are immune, not really sure who though. Congressional aides fill out surveys every two years (I think) and this website comes out with a "Best and Worst of Congress List" for categories like hottest, brainiest, worst fashion sense, most and least ethical. And Russ Feingold, among others, is tops in the ethics category. His interns can't even accept a hotdog from a lobbyist. The winners in each category changed in 2008 so you should check out the 2006 list as well because it came out way before the election and was, I think, less partisan. As an aside, you'll notice that in 2006, Obama won the "Rising Star" category which is amusing since he hadn't spoken of his intention to run for President when this list was released. It's interesting to read the 2006 list (the first link) and then read the 2008 link (the second link) and notice trends based on Congressional scandals and failed Presidential campaigns.
