Do not be flippant. I have to put up with a lot of BS that you do not.

Interesting, coming from a gay guy!

When you say "REALLY gay", I assume you mean "really effeminate", right?

What do you find irritating about them?

I find both very effeminate and very masculine guys to be very irritating.

The very effeminate man is very prissy and talks waaay to much about nothing. Extremely immature too.

The very masculine guy is really withholding and very sexual....very simple and cave-man like. Also extremely immature.

Well, it takes all kinds to make up the world. I think it's okay to laugh about our differences, but I don't understand anger and hostility toward people who are just being themselves. Sad.

The anger and hostility comes in when they start judging me for being different. I'm not extremely effeminate and not extremely masculine....I'm just in between. I'm very articulate and have a lot of depth and knowledge about various topics and I also have an overt sense of humor, gay men confuse that trait with effeminacy and Jack from Will and Grace ..... I think it is just rude to put that label on me. "Ewww he is like Jack from will and grace" says the gay man......

All those irritating flaws I mentioned in the previous post can be over looked if they have tact and respect towards me.

Oh no!!! Not judging you for being different!

Look, everyone has to take crap in their lives. Your crap might be different from someone else's crap, but everyone has it. Right or wrong, it's just human nature, I guess.

LOL... sounds about right. I've had three gay male roommates in the last two years, and they couldn't be more different in their "lifestyles" and even in their looks. The first one was a very "normal" guy, who worked as an IT specialist and enjoyed fixing up old beaters (trucks, El Caminos, etc) and hanging out with his dog. Second one was a skinny Russian goth-type, with long dyed black hair and goth-y clothing, who works as a computer programmer. Then there's my current roomie, who is kind of your stereotypical gay man - works at a hair salon, does fashion design, rides in the AIDS lifecycle, goes dancing, etc. Those are just a few examples, and one reason I scoff at the idea of a "gay lifestyle." Only thing they have in common is their attraction to men, and that certainly isn't enough to constitute a lifestyle.

Some times I wish I was Gay , because when the bar's about to close and there's nothing but guys left, I'll look around and say, " gee if I was gay I might still have a chance to get lucky tonight"

You need to grow up and be a mature adult man.
