When will Hollywood stop glorifying Rapper thugs, Hollywood drug addicts, untalented actresses and Italian Mafia thugs?

I am doing my part by not watching or paying for any of that trash, I wish more of my fellow Americans would do the same.

I saw "Notorious" Monday and was pleasantly suprised. It was more of a bio-pic than thuggery glorifying movie. It showed his rough upbringing followed by a transformation into a guy who wanted to support his family and become the greatest rapper of all time. It was sad that as he reached true manhood, he was cutdown for nothing at 24. The movie also painted others like Puffy in a great light (I'm not a big puffy fan) as he refused to work with BIG if he continued to sell drugs. BIG simply for a few short years lived a rock-star lifestyle in a rappers body. If alive, he'd basically be Jay-Z who's now as mainstream as Bruce Springstein.

Never stand in the way of a "good" rant.

Maybe we should have a fairness doctrine on the issue. For every verse about pimping we can have someone else give a verse about the value of their profession? For every verse about a ho we can have a verse about abstinence. Wouldn't that be a great idea?
