The propaganda organ for Russia and the former Soviet Union, Pravda, says that soon-to-be President Barack Obama is merely being set up by the Republican Party to be a scapegoat for America’s economic crisis.

Link to rest.

Quite the contrary. Like FDR, Obama will fool the US into thinking that free market capitalism (which we didn't have) was an utter failure and just doesn't work without massive Keynesian intervention.

Enjoy the ride, chumps.

He is a scapegoat only if we, the people, allow the extremists (I won't call the Republicans or Conservatives) to make him one.

Didn't you know that the Pravda has ceased publication years ago? Whatever you are quoting is not THE Pravda of the old communist party. Have you ever even seen a Pravda newspaper?

On August 22, 1991, a decree by Russian President Boris Yeltsin shut down the Communist Party and seized all of its property, including Pravda. The Pravda you are referring to now, is a leftist newspaper, not associated with any party.

By the way, newsflash.. the Soviet Union is dead! Ever hear of Belarus, the baltic countries, Ukraine, the stan countries, etc. etc.

The power in Congress is Democratic. They have the ability to cause him grief at every level if they chose. Lots of left wing nut jobs out there who will be annoyed he isn't 100% for them and some on the right who will do the same......

We, the people, elect these representatives. We are not a democracy at the national level. We are a constitutional republic. Look it up. We have no say in what obama does unless we hold our elected officals to task and make them do what we voted them in to do.

Give it a year and you will see if he is a pawn of the Dems....

Obama may just be savvy enough to play them bigtime. He plays nice guy. Cmon, he learned in Chicago. Nice guys dont finish last there. They are beaten, robbed, and left for dead... And thats just the beginning.

Well, if Pravda says so, then it must be true, right?

Silly question: since when does this country revolve around what Pravda says?

The Pravda is not the same it used to be in the USSR. It's relatively small opposition newspaper which belongs to small Communist party of Russia. Do not take it seriously.
