Whatever floats your boat, but the explanation of what happened doesn't ring true to me. And I'm a mechanical engineer with a background in aircraft.

But if you feel better calling me names, have at it.

Just off the top of my head.
The basis for the hatred of Bush. Socialists despise tax cuts. The entire push back revolves around the notion of giving people back money they've earned.

I have many issues with Bush 43. This was his great accomplishment, however. Giving people back more of their money, to me, can only be construed as a good thing.

And the NTSB is staffed with what? Typists? Truck drivers? Soda jerks?

Just WHAT doesn't ring true about a spark and volatile fuel vapors causing an explosion?

Sorry, didn't call YOU names but anyway I look at it, to call it a "shootdown" with no evidence is meaningless, or just a lame attempt to politicize a non-political event.

As you also conveniently ignore Bush's lack of action on the USS Cole incident.

I keep on seeing this thread but just could not think of anything the Dictator bush has done well.

I finally thought of something. Late last night I saw on the news that as the very last act as Dictator ol bushy boy pardoned those 2 Border Patrol Agents from prison. The 2 guards were doing their job protecting the USA from drug smugglers but ended up with 10 years in prison for doing it.

Forget the fact that ol Dictator bushy fought hard to make damn sure those to Guards got to prison in the first place.

So you of course hold George H W Bush responsible for the 1993 WTC attack, right? Or will you try to tell us THAT was planned in 5 weeks?

Maybe he should've cautioned his son to be on his toes

This really ticks me off when I read praise about the child tax credits. Many of us AREN'T married and don't have children ... and therefore, have never benefitted from this. Furthermore, as a conservative Libertarian, I am personally opposed to the child tax credit because it is truly a welfare type of program disguised as tax relief. In reality, Uncle Sam hands you $1,000 when you file taxes for every kid you pop out. That is government money being diverted to people with children ... so tell me how that is any different than a public assistance program.

Back to what Bush has done well: implemented the idea of giving workers more privatized control over Social Security, and he vetoed a costly child health insurance bill. I can't give him much credit for his reaction to the 9/11 attacks because he more or less blew off capturing Osama Bin Laden, and focussed on Iraq (which wasn't responsible for 9/11). I will give him credit for eliminating Saddam Hussein. He should have been done away with under the first Bush during the 1991 Gulf War.
