Again you are making it sound like we are raping people by the dozens and I can say as some one who was there I never saw nor heard of this on such a scale. Yes it happened a few times, which is far to many, but it's not like our goal is to go out and rape and kill any we see.
Pack, Most men in the military are not rapists, and I never said that they were. They are protecting us by fighting for America and for freedom. I admire that, but it seems like you are saying that only a few get raped or tortured, when I consider a few less than a handful. and I am telling you that at Gito there was a lot of torture and killing as well as rape, and that it happens more than a dozen times. But again, most men do not engage in this practice.
The military does not condone drugs, traitorous activities, rapes, destruction of personal property,(unless it's the enemy) and vigorously applies UCMJ to such activities.
The Department of Defense statistics are alarming -- one in three women who join the US military will be sexually assaulted or raped by men in the military. The warnings to women should begin above the doors of the military recruiting stations, as that is where assaults on women in the military begins -- before they are even recruited.
But this does not mean that most men are doing these things.

AFN runs public service announcements several times a day on each channel about rape in the military. If they're presenting PSAs, it is a big deal. They don't present PSAs on a topic that's not a big problem.

Your second article is interesting, I would agree that there a problems and some of the cases do sound suspicious. I have researched and I would have to agree that there does seem to be a problem with in the military about rape.
My original argument was in defense of our troops raping Iraqi women, where you have crazygirl claiming we do nothing but rape and murder.

They can't in good taste say, "Well he at least kept us safe after 9/11". And they wonder why the US is in such a mess?! What human being could withstand 8 years of commedians, commentators, TV anchors and fellow politicians trash-talking them? Nobody. Liberals created this mess.
