lbear, could you instead maybe focus on these obvious free speech hating 'liberals'

Obscene, Indecent and Profane Broadcasts - FCC.gov

FCC has been denying freedom of speech for years... Does that many we've already been conquered by the scary Muslims that have taken over the Netherlands?

Then you can start with the MPAA... lots of free speech hating and hypocrisy there as well...

I agree with you

They pretend to start with an issue, but it ends with Obama bashing or Obama supporters.

For the life of me, I don't understand how they can criticize Obama after the Republicans screwed this country. They should be in hiding with their heads held low out of shame. Instead, I listen to them whining about Obama while Bush & friends walked away with $350B of tax payer's money. With eight years in office Bush & friends walked away extremely wealthy, compliments of U.S. citizens and the hell with the rest of us. So the majority doesn't care about their opinion and we saw that at the polls in November.

Obama received: 66,882,230 votes - 53%
McCain received: 58,343,671 votes - 46%

The country is divided and 58 million voters did NOT want Obama as their president. The country will continue to become divided as Obama's policies destroy America.

BBC NEWS | South Asia | Karzai anger at US strike deaths

"Afghan President Hamid Karzai critical of U.S. and Obama in civilian deaths. Mr Karzai said most of those killed were civilians, adding that such deadly incidents strengthened Taleban rebels and weakened Afghanistan's government. Women and children were among those killed, Mr Karzai said.

The strike was the first controversy in Afghanistan involving US troops since US President Barack Obama took office."

Ssssssh. Be really quiet. Do you hear that?

The Left is busy being very quiet, non-vocal and uncritical of Obama because of these deaths. The Left, especially his Cultists, aren't treating Obama at all like they treated George W. Bush when attacks like the above happened. No, when this happened prior to January 20, Bush was called a "Warmonger." Obama must be a Warmonger, too, using the same definition.

It was essentially the same division between George H.W. Bush and Michael Dukakis. Just thought I'd point that out.

Atleast the battle field has returned to the location of the people that attacked us! Not that I expect you to know who that was with all the lies you have taken in!

Freedom of speech is a myth anymore.

1. You can be fired from any job, for saying almost anything.

2. Anyone can sue you, for anything you state, truthful or not.

3. Corporate attorneys files suits against employees and ex employees every day in this country to intimidate and shut people up.

4. Many laws are geared against truth in advertisement. Truth in advertising is one, with very vague legal descriptions left to be interpreted by any Tom dick and Harry. Terminology like "In a misleading manor." Well what is misleading to you, might not be to me. They are too lazy to specify specifics, so they now use vague, non interpretable language in our laws. All the while stepping all over our free speech rights.

5. You can be arrested for yelling at a law enforcement officer. Even when there is no threat.

6. Prosecutors in many states are now arresting "Johns" for sharing information on prostitutes. Not selling, not, pimping, nothing more then telling someone a "review" about a working lady. (for the record I think prostitution is one of the most sickening things on the planet)

7. All democrats are trying to do, is make it a little more restrictive then it already is.

We have a "limited" freedom of speech in America. Not a true version, originally intended by our founding fathers.

Sure didn't look divided at the inauguration to me... biggest turnout everywhere, the sweeping majority covers him like a Hollywood star.

But yes... sadly, there are a lot of people like you (but not necessarily all voters who didn't choose Obama)... truthfully, we all wish that we could stick you in a faraway prison, without trial and jury, and never look at you again, but then... we'd be no better than you.

Heck, if you're going to look at popular vote numbers, the U.S. majority didn't even want Bush in 2000, so what does that tell you?

Bush
50,456,002 47.87%
Gore
50,999,897 48.38%

You... are absolutely correct. I wish you weren't, but free speech is seriously defunct today.

In other news... here's some of that divide and descent lbear is talking about:
