No, Im saying it's a great idea, but not something the Bushmen would think to do. If the Obama people felt like being malicious, in 2016, I think that would be more their style.

I see. Even though he was my #2 choice, I am willing and eager to see how "their style" pans out. We all need a winner. Badly.

Not mentioned by the OP, but mentioned in the article were that some of the problems were caused by security issues and aides not knowing where their offices were. Bush must not have left a "You Are Here" map.
The entire article didn't fit the mind set I guess.

Informational purposes: most schools are running that same software.

- Two years after launching the most technologically savvy presidential campaign in history, Obama officials ran smack into the constraints of the federal bureaucracy yesterday, encountering a jumble of disconnected phone lines, old computer software, and security regulations forbidding outside e-mail accounts.

- members of the White House team came to work on Tuesday ... only to discover that it was impossible to know which programs could be updated, or even which computers could be used for which purposes ... team members, accustomed to working on Macs, found computers with 6-year-old versions of Microsoft software. Laptops were scarce, assigned to only a few people in the West Wing. The team was left struggling to put closed captions on online videos.

Helluva job, bushies....
Bush was a neanderthal, utterly incompetent to run a bake sale much a country.
