This makes no sense to me. Where was this same concern as Bush was pimping the country?

I sure hope Obama fails to carry out the things he wants. He already wants to shut down GItmo and fund abortion in other countries with American taxpayer money. Maybe the elites in New York and Hollywood and Boston are okay with it but most of America is not.

He will also pass policies that favor illegal immigration and gun control, giving illegals in state tuition at college, giving more rights and benefits to illegals and the children of illegals, giving amnesty to illegals and anchor babies.

Default Limbaugh wants Obama to fail

Rush Limbaugh announced on his show that he hopes Obama fails as a president.

News: Limbaugh wants Obama to fail. Aren't you shocked? (http://essence.typepad.com/news/2009/01/limbaugh-wants.html - broken link)

Considering the mess our country is in, that is not very patriotic of him.

Considering that Bush's failure led to many people losing their 401ks, jobs, houses, and lives in Iraq, I am guessing not many.

Why would anyone want their president to fail? Do we still live in a country, or is it one big bowl game now? "My team is better than your team! Yay for us! Boo for you! I hope you fail even if it means I fail too!" I played that game too, right here on this forum, so I'm as guilty as anyone. But the minute the man took that oath I backed off because it's time for him to go to work.

It makes no sense. I didn't vote for Obama, and I'm sure I won't often agree with him. But he's the president. If he fails we're all in BIG trouble, because we can't afford for things to go anywhere but up from here.

And Limbaugh stopped being relevant when he was busted for doing the same things he rallied against other people doing. I'm a conservative who only finds out about what he says when my liberal friends tell me. I tell them to turn it off, but they never listen.

He doesn't have to hope & pray for this.. I mean, how is the president supposed to alter the economy?
