2. But the important question is.... who does the average guy who doesn't follow politics and doesn't listen to Rush think he is?

Even though he's not elected many see him as a representative of the GOP. Or as representative of the typical GOP member.

It's something to think about.
The average guy that does not follow politics, is not the target audience of Rush. Rush is the spokesperson of those who care about this country enough to follow politics closely, knowing that our freedom relies on it. Its not that he says what people wont say, he says what we cant say.

Listen to the entire clip.

Limbaigh said that, IF Obama's plan is to nationalize (virtually) EVERYTHING, then he hopes that Obama fails. If Obama does want the Government to run the Economy, Healthcare system and everything else, I also hope he fails (in his attempt to give Government complete control of the country).

Funny you mention that, I just read up on that whole fiasco the other day...Coughlin sounded like an awful guy, but FDR tried too hard to shut him down IMO.

Listening to the whole story is to hard for the common liberal, they would rather just condemn, then listen. Kinda like Jack Murtha did with the troops, saying they were rapists and murderers, than not even apologizing when they were aquitted.

And keeping away from stale generalizations is hard for the typically narrow-minded conservative.

He should have been quoted in full.
The OP left out that Rush said he would hope for Obama's presidency to be successful if he keeps the Bush policy of fighting terrorism and not letting the Bush tax cuts expire.

Limbaugh won't admit that his guy's agenda failed the nation.
O's agenda dooms the economy to failure and freedom to the trashcan. I'm rooting for secession, it can't happen quick enough.

Quoting him in whole would have been insulting.

So basically, Rush wants Obama to succeed if he continues Bushes failed policies?

Get outta here!
