The woman's father sounds like he has a European accent & keeps telling the reporters to leave the family alone. This actually is an interesting situation & I think the mother of all these babies is looking at a TV series that is quite possible living in LA. Aside from the pro & con of having so many little children [all 14 kids are under 8 yrs old ] this could be an interesting story.
Here's another thought. We are all assuming that the 8 babies are fraternal, and that at least 8 embryos were implanted. What if some are identical? Maybe 8 embryos weren't implanted. maybe it was fewer. Unlikely, but possible.

I've never assumed that.
Remember the eighth baby was a last minute "surprise".
Heck, there was a case last year of identical triplets.
The above is possible, and I have seen it in the practice where I work. However, the patient's mom (the babies' grandmother) said she had embryos implanted last year.
there were identical quads in my hometown a few years back.
Were they in-vitro or natural? There was a set of triplets in my hometown back when I was a kid (they would be about 55 now), two identical girls and a boy. Obvi, these were natural. There is a set of triplets in the practice where I work, in vitro, two identical boys and a girl. The boy embryo split.

I know. I don't think all 8 could be identical. I just mean MAYBE only 4 or so were implanted, and some divided. Unlikely, I know, and still rather irresponsible.

Possibly a Mexican clinic, possibly a Catholic hospital.
With all the complaining by people who don't have all the facts, yet, it would seem that many are changing their minds on abortion.
Maybe not. They want the kids born, but they want no part of suppoting them. Never mind. Status Quo maintained.
Wtf? Catholic hospitals would never do IVF at all, much less the irresponsible implanting of 8 embryos.
