Does that give the United States the birthright to invade Iraq, depose and hang its dictator, and install our own version of government?

To some people, they seem to think we had/have this privilege.

And to those who say 'yes', I ask you: What countries would you be content with invading the United States, deposing our government, and installing their version?

Anyone?

You're right about us not having the birthright or privilege to go into any country and installing our version of Government......

Maybe I misintepreted your first response, but it appears as though you believe that if the west abandoned the middle east all wars and conflcts there would end? I think some would but I don't believe that there will ever be everlasting peace between lets say Israel and Iran or Israel and Palestine. There's simply to much dispute over land and entitlement based on religous beliefs for that to happen.

I don't believe in being the world's policeman so you'll have to ask someone else...

But why is it that the good intentions of the US government are only lavished on oil-rich countries while Palestine was deplorably ignored by the US government when Israel started a three-week bombing and invasion in 2009 in an operation known to the Israelis as Operation Cast Lead and to the Palestinians as the Gaza Massacre during which Israel unleashed a bloodbath. According to reports, in January 2009, after seven days of bombing, some 9,000-10,000 Israeli troops made a brutal invasion of Gaza, killing over 1400 Palestinians with half of them being women and children. Over 3,300 were wounded, with an estimated 45 percent of them being women and children. What happened in Gaza was a merciless offence to the hearts, the minds and the ears. But, Washington was shamelessly silent. But where does all this strategic and political apartheid come from?

Because one BILLION Muslims can't handle the fact that 6 million Jews are living in a state the size of New Jersey. The fact that they give their citizens full rights (how dare they let their women drive) makes them look bad.

Any good left wing apologist will tell you the middle east was a perfectly calm and serene place where everybody got along before the evil Jews came back.

It's quite simple. The various religions cannot live in peace.
Religion IS the law over there.

Countries in the Middle East would be fighting each other regardless of whether or not the West had been there. Ironically, it was when the British Empire was the dominant power in the region that there was relative peace.
Very well stated and true. And because at the forefront of many problems in the M.E. has to do with Religion, sad but true.

The many different ethnicities, and the difference in cultures, different religions, but pretty stern in their thinking, will always be against each other. They want no part of how we are in the West. Well it also has to do with their warp sense of beliefs and thinking that each of their religions is the only religion to follow.
And some of their beliefs are so barbaric and out there, and ancient ways of thinking.
