It is your prerogative, but it seems that you just might be afraid to learn a really inconvenient truth.
Oh, c'mon if you're going to parrot the inventor of the internet at least give me a stick your tongue out emoticon, or I might think that you actually believe his nonsense.

Just another conservative debunked hook, line , and sinker!
The tales of Robin Hood, friend of the taxpayer, and enemy of the medieval tax and banking establishment has friends amongst the libertarian crowd.
If the legends are true, and Robin and his men robbed from the rich and gave to the poor, it is likely that they fought the feudal system by robbing the taxers and returning the money to the oppressed taxpayers among the peasantry. The king and his looters had no property rights to the forest, its animal life or the labor and property of the peasantry. How could they? What they exercised were immoral privileges inherent to the feudal governmental regime, which allowed a few to exploit the labor and property of the many. http://mises.org/article.aspx?Id=1492

I tried to rep you but I have to spread it around another good post!

You are apparently a Bush enabler and supporter and in grave denial of what has transpired in this country. I do not debate with obtuse people for very long. Have a nice life buddy.
But if the tax cuts were for the "rich," they wouldn't have been paying more in taxes (by percent) in 2006 compared to 2000.
Look, I'm sorry that you don't understand basic math. I'll try to explain though I'm not sure if it'll do any good. Let's try an example:
1) Income of 388,000; tax rate of 35%. Year 2006
Total taxes paid = $136,000
Money left over = $252,000
2) Income of $313,000; tax rate of 39%. Year 2000
Total taxes paid = $122,0000
Money left over = $191,000
Take a look....the tax rate is lower in 2006 but you still end up paying more dollars in taxes. Why? Because you're income is a LOT higher in 2006. And look at what you happens....you have an extra $60,000 at the end of the day.
Okay, that's your math lesson for the day. I need to go cry a river for the rich. They're sure getting a raw deal.
