"And during the first six years of George W. Bush's presidency, the average income of those 400 people actually doubled to $263.3 million, according to the data.

Between 2005 and 2006, those 400 Americans saw their income rise nearly 23 percent, and through the first six years of the Bush administration their average tax rate fall by a third, to 17.2 percent, Bloomberg
reported."

Yes, the Repubs are all clamoring for more tax cuts for the wealthy, to solve this gigantic economic problem.

You know they have the numbers of what the previous tax-cuts did to the deficit and income disparities! Why would they play games?

The wealthy were paying less in taxes (by percent) in the year 2000 than in the year 2006.

I'd suggest that these ultra-rich Obama administration appointees should start by simply PAYING THE TAXES THEY ALREADY OWE.

Would that help make the hypocrisy any less obvious?

Maybe you missed this "through the first six years of the Bush administration their average tax rate fall by a third, to 17.2 percent".

Why is it that you cannot provide a substantiated argument that you can back up! You probably know you would be countered with facts and therefore have to do some research to counter, so you make your side look ignorant by name calling! Even though there is a valid argument from those who are conservative! I enjoy when one joins us here! Unfortunately its not you!
