it would seem that the hamas supporters on this thread feel there is no such thing as israel or jerusalum, there is only palestine and some trespassers whom they are in the process of attempting to eliminate. wow sounds a lot like 3rd reich to me.

Israel was founded according to a United Nations partition to create both a Palestinian and Israeli states. There was certainly nothing illegal about it. Israel created cities, universities and orchards on desert land, raised their kids, and became highly successful. The Palestinians squandered their years with the sole intent of wiping Israel off the map, and thus have nothing to show for their lives. And now you people want to blame Israel for that. It's pathetic.

Actually, the partition plan was rejected by one side and never went into legal effect. The UN Security Council never approved it.

And how exactly do you propose they do that, kill several hundred thousand to a million + people in Gaza, because that is more than likely what it will take to completely destroy Hamas.

Isn't their stated goal to destroy Israel? Don't they refuse to recognize Israel's status as a nation? Who would expect any other behavior in light of this?
You knew as soon as Israel left Gaza that the Arabs would start up their crap again and they will keep at it until Israel goes back there and beats the snot out of them again. But the world stands by and says nothing to the Arabs. They will just wait to jump on Israel for going in there and giving the Arabs a well earned ass whuppin.
