Isn't Obama doing exactly what GWB was doing in the Middle East? In fact, he attacked a sovereign nation that we are not at war with resulting in 30 deaths. I don't think they had any WMDs either.

Grow up. Had Carter installed a new government in Iran in 1979, we could have avoided five wars including the two in which we are now engaged. We also could have avoided 9/11 by not allowing the CIA to fall into disarray during the Clinton years with inadequate budgets and a 25% attrition rate. A stich in time....

Just for historical accuracy:
1) Though the Shah was installed in Iran in 1953 by the CIA and the British, Carter didn't install Ayatollah Khomeini. There was no way the US could prevent the fall of the Shah in 1979 without invading Iran and igniting a total war. And even if the invasion succeeded we probably needed to stay there until this day... Unlike in Iraq's case, no country supported an invasion of Iran in 1979.
2) The problem with the the CIA on 9/11 wasn't so much the lack of funding, but the way US secret services were structured, managed and coordinated. Some people accuse G.W. Bush for the failure, but I don't think that is correct.

Correct---it was Bill Clinton who slashed funding for our intelligence agencies during his reign of terror...You want to know where Clintons "Magical surplus" came from? There you go.

I am glad that you understand how the educational system failed you.

1) Who said anything about keeping the Shah? Who said anything about invading? Has anyone invaded Iran recently? No, yet they have an unelected government that they cannot remove. The difference with this government is that it is unfriendly to all parties; the people of Iran, Israel and the US. This same unfriendly, unelected and unmovable government is as bad or worse than any we could have created back in 1979 and is fast-forwarding the people of Iran into a military (possibly nuclear) conflict that they can only lose. Millions more will die once again in an avoidable war.
2) WTC was attacked in 1993 at the beginning of Bubba's first term. He had eight years to get the CIA up to speed and get operatives inside Afghanistan. We didn't do that because he didn't get it. Clinton then, like BO today, wanted to approach it as a law enforcement matter in which we play by the rules and they don't.

I will bet you my month's Social Security check that you can't prove that you have ever watched an hour of Beck at one time. I will say that you wouldn't know his face if it popped up on the tv screen. You are talking fool liberal talk you got from others who think the same way.

It must be hard for you to compete when you don't have a marketable skill that will pay you what you think you are worth.
