Default Is it just me or is this troubling to you too?

When Obama had selected Richardson to run the dept of commerce, he stood up and said he was sure Richardson would be able to do a good job on the Census.

Then Richardson bows out because he is being investigated and Obama crosses party lines and picks Judd Gregg, a Republican.

He wasted no time in pulling from his responsibility the over seeing of the Census. He handed it over to Ron Emanuel. Stating the White House wants to have more control over it. Why? Because it determines welfare funding, government representation, electoral college, etc. Make no mistake, Obama has his eye on 2012 already. He is starting his campaign already.

Ahhhh, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain

Like every President who assumes the duties Obama has an agenda and we would all be naive to think that he's not looking down the road to 2012. I see nothing wrong or peculiar about this.

As a Republican, we need to produce a candidate who can better lead this nation. Until we produce one such candidate the majority will vote for who they like so it doesn't matter.

The man behind the curtain, Prof Marvel, was unknown to the inhabitants of the Emerald City. In Washington, everyone knows of and is aware of the fact that Rahm Emanuel is Obama Chief of Staff. Now if you for a second think that Emanuel who had no part in Obama's campaign is now the secret power in the White House... you have gotten too used to the Rove/Chaney mode of governance.
