Such an awful story! Its too bad the electric supplier didnt look into his case further. It's too bad he had no friends or family. I guess death is the penalty for not paying your electric bill these days.

In any case, it is a tragedy. I would at least expect them to work out some kind of payment plan. They knew it was cold outside. ****ing heartless.

I love how they did this to this man and then say it was the neighbors' responsibility to check on him. Did anyone inform the neighbors that they would be doing this to the man? I don't see how they can pass off responsibility like that. Shameless.

I dont know how a power company in BAY CITY MICHIGAN could cut off anyone's power in the middle of a Michigan winter. B*tards.

Maybe this will lead to some sort of new rule.
