I must admit, I know not ONE person that likes Pelosi. Even the most die hard democrats that I know don't like her. So how on earth does this woman not only keep getting elected, but keep being named speaker of the house? Am I missing something here?

Obviously, her constituents appreciate her.
What's your problem?
Big deal, you don't like her. Is it because she's a woman?

Well, seeing as I am a woman, that is probably not what my "problem" is. My problem is that she is a greedy, power hungry, sometimes crazy-like person! I hear nothing but complaints about her but yet she keeps getting elected.

One has nothing to do with another.
Being a woman doesn't mean that you respect other women. Look at Phyllis Schafley.
Do you also feel such vehemence about men who are in positions of power.

Looks like people are voting for her, doncha think.

I could ask you and others the same question regarding Governor Palin.

I think you're trying to dig for sexism. Same thing the pugs did when someone would express distaste for queen sarah.

Seems like a rather clear answer, people are voting for her.
I think bringing gender into it is a fair question.
Are your feelings the same for men in power?

My feelings are the same about anybody who acts like she does. Period. Gender has nothing to do with it. If you abuse your power, then I have an issue.

Why? There are plenty of male politicians that people dislike for whatever reasons and I don't see gender brought into it then.
