I won't be doing anything with it, except either use it for the doubling of my car tax, or 1% increase in sales tax, or 2% surcharge on my state taxes (a tax on taxes!), or the extra .12 cents a gallon gas tax CA will impose on me if the new budget passes.

I f*cking hate CA.

Don't get too used to the $13, because it lowers to about $8 a week next January. Might save someones house though!

13 bucks a week? That's about how much I tip my bartender in a week. After taxes... I'm still coming up short.

put it in the bank for my daughter, and provide an apology note for my daughter when she grows up that our government decided that 13 per week was worth making our children, and our children's children pay for it for the rest of their lives.

Lunch (or dinner) at a decent ethnic restaurant.

Since it shows up as a smaller deduction in people's pay checks and I have direct deposit I guess it'll go in the bank. From there it'll probably go into my '2008 IRA' or 'pay down the house' fund somehow.

Nothing. I'll increase the amount I'm managing to put into savings by $13. As far as I'm concerned, they could have taken every penny of tax cuts and put it into job creation via money going directly to the states.
