I agree with everything Michael Savage said in that article. I have never heard his show (do not listen to radio). Liberalism is a study in contradiction. They are not tolerant. They do not believe in free speech and they are anything but peaceful. I believe with their new successes in elections we can see them getting more vile and aggressive. It will end up kicking them in the teeth.
Books aside, degrees aside, Savage is a shock jock first and foremost. That's his primary job and that's what sells to his audience (of which I am NOT a part of)....

Shock jock? He says what he feels, he gives his opinion of current affairs. That makes him a shock jock?

He's even a shock jock when he types. Who types in all caps? He's an entertainer, like Rush, out to make a buck. The problem is when enough people take their histrionics seriously that it actually changes public opinion and policy.
These guys main motivation is profit, which is great and perfectly acceptable. To get more profits, they need more listeners. To get more listeners they need to be more outrageous and controversial and get quoted by others. However, this whole process tinges their "beliefs" in that they know if they take controversial stances, no matter how illegitimate they may be, they'll get more people listening in and get more money.
The news works in a similar way. People are bored by facts and logic.
