No truer words! I see from your screenname you're from Texas. I think it takes an outsider to have an objective point of view. Thank you.

What happened to "Personal responsibility"?
or that only applies to people that republicans don't like?

Who the .... is the governor of California?
Well, he's the person responsible for whatever mess they have.

I love how jealous haters focus so much of their attention on us as if WE are a burden on them?

PUHLEEZE.

California sends $290 Billion to DC in taxes every year and we get back $240 Billlion in spending. Meaning we are shortchanged $50 Billion a year.

That's the real cause of our shortfall. Being a part of the rest of you. Your dragging us down.
So true, but notice that nobody will address your post.

CA has a long been a tax donor to the rest of the states, just give us our tax dollars back and we will be more than fine. Shoot, just give us 1 years worth back and we will be fine.

Why Do Some States Feast on Federal Spending, Not Others? Wow look at the "liberal states" : CA, MA, IL, NY ....all give way more to the Fed than received... California may be dying (nope), but your "red" states would probably already be dead if it wasn't for our taxes...

Well, you may not like the way Dopo said it. But the fact remains: Schwarzenegger is the governor, and within the borders of California, that makes him the person ultimately responsible. Just because you evidently support the man, that doesn't mean he's doing a good job.

I do blame Schwarzenegger but not him alone. That man has been extremely open borders, he's a globalist. He's worked just as much as the democrats to bring this about.

It may not be such a bad thing for our federal government to collapse and have power return to the 50 states. Then the individual states can decide if they want to bail out California and help keep those high state worker salaries and costly schools for illegals going or not. Otherwise people in California may need to tighten their belts a bit. Maybe it's time the elite there start paying the costs of their illegal servants instead of expecting others to pick up the tab.

You should be teaching college math instead of wasting your time teaching us all that stuff for free.
