North Korea is NOW threatening war with South Korea.

Obama and the Democratic Congress have said they are for a draft.

If war breaks out between North and South Korea, and Obama calls for a draft to fight North Korea ... will YOU go? Will you send your sons and daughters?

This is not some nebulous, hypothetical scenario, this a very real possibility. Will you support the draft to fight North Korea?

If it means complete destruction of the North Korean regime and reuniting of North Korea into South Korea, then Yes.

I don't want any more ceasefires and no withdrawing back to the DMZ.

We need to solve the north korean problem once and for all.

Lol, I'm sure that the Obamabots have full faith that "meaningful dialouge" will prevail and that the chosen one can talk the N Koreans into "seeing reason".

If there is a draft people will protest that war pretty hard.

Well since the 101st Laptop Brigade didn't seem to excited about send their kids to fight in the Iraq the question gives me great pause. Another issue that is concern of course is that if we didn't have 14 combat brigades in Iraq... we wouldn't exactly need a draft in case of an incursion from the North.

But I digress.

Would I send my daughter... I don't have the power. She is a young adult and would have to make that decision on her own.

Why not just stay out of the conflict between North & South Korea? Gosh, this is going to turn into another Vietnam War.

Yes, stay out of conflict and close most of our US bases overseas, quit provoking Russia with NATO expansion, let Europe do the job themselves, etc. Finish up Iraq and Afghan and go home. This is what I prefer. By the way, I'm a right-winger.

Do you realize North Korea has the world's 3rd largest army with 1 million infantry troops (the guys who actually do the shooting.) They of course have millions more to call upon.

Didn't Biden say that "We're going to do something in 6 months that's going to make our numbers tank but in the end you'll see it was the right thing to do - we'll need community support for our decision" Is this what he was talking about?

If your daughter made the decision to go into the military, at war or at peace, would you willingly let her go?
