What rights and freedoms are you referring to?

What thread were you reading when you posted this slander? Yours is the first response and it reads like a hatefest from the right. Nowhere does the OP mention liberals specifically. While I don't label myself as liberal or conservative (only on a few issues where the argument is black and white) I can clearly announce that liberals DO indeed think critically. They also write much more clearly than do those on the "opposite" side. Your generalizations above speak volumes.

You seem to equate increased profits with more jobs, but the reality tells a different story...

This is how I want to help those in need. I don't need or want govt stealing my money to support some of their causes like welfare for the lazy, illegals and their healthcare etc.
Why do you think that I need the government stealing my hard earned money to conduct military adventures in the ME that cost trillions? Let me decide where and how to spend my money. Its not the government who should decide. I don't trust them. And even if some democrats agreed to the initial war, we later asked W to bring our troops home, but he refused and said he needs more money. He put a burden on our future generations.

Dude, go read politics 101.

Nazism is liberalism with fangs. Nazism is government control over your life.

Conservatism is shrink that government, get them out of your life, where politicians are accounatable to the people - not pawns of the government. Comprende amigo?

No, Naziism is Conservatism with fangs, Communism is liberalism with fangs. Works out the same for the citizen on most issues.

Hasn't congress given us example after example, year after year that they cannot be trusted to spend wisely.

Would you like a side of extremism to go with your drink?

The brilliance of the American system - and it has been this way very purposefully from the beginning - is the necessary tension between liberalism and conservatism. When one side gets too much power, it swings back the other way.

Your side is not always right. The other side is not always wrong.

Turn off talk radio and treat them with the maturity and respect they deserve in trying to dig out of this chaos.

I would ask you put some trust your fellow Americans first, then the ceo's bankers and wall st after all they are americans too. Then you trust your government to trust the people.

It is when you trust your government to control the people you have now lost everything you wished to gain.
