What thread were you reading when you posted this slander? Yours is the first response and it reads like a hatefest from the right. Nowhere does the OP mention liberals specifically. While I don't label myself as liberal or conservative (only on a few issues where the argument is black and white) I can clearly announce that liberals DO indeed think critically. They also write much more clearly than do those on the "opposite" side. Your generalizations above speak volumes.
2 points to make here Increased profits = more jobs, more jobs = more dollars in the consumer market and more dollars spent = more profit.
You seem to equate increased profits with more jobs, but the reality tells a different story...

The brilliance of the American system - and it has been this way very purposefully from the beginning - is the necessary tension between liberalism and conservatism. When one side gets too much power, it swings back the other way.
Your side is not always right. The other side is not always wrong.
Turn off talk radio and treat them with the maturity and respect they deserve in trying to dig out of this chaos.
I don't trust much of anybody. That said, I'll put my trust in the new president rather than corporate CEO's, bankers and Wall St. big shots. We put our trust in them for the past eight years, and we all know how that turned out.
I would ask you put some trust your fellow Americans first, then the ceo's bankers and wall st after all they are americans too. Then you trust your government to trust the people.
It is when you trust your government to control the people you have now lost everything you wished to gain.
