His comments are so stupid on so many levels. Does he really think that Obama is going to select a replacement for Ginsberg with someone in the mold of Scalia, Alito or Thomas?
Fat chance.
If the Republicans had any hope of influencing future Supreme Court Justices, they blew their chance during the stimulus debate. Those around Obama now have more than enough ammuntion to argue that any jesture to placate the Republicans is a fantasy. The internal presure from Democrats will insure that Ginsberg's replacement will be in name only. Thank god.
I find it sad that anyone would spend their time contemplating how long another person has to live. I wish her a comfortable life, no matter how long it may be.

I'm more surprised that in light of the Schiavo affair the GOP are calling for Ginsberg to be cyronically frozen so that we might be able to reappoint her in the future when cancer becomes curable.
ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. -- U.S. Sen. Jim Bunning predicted over the weekend that U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg would likely be dead from pancreatic cancer within nine months.
During a wide-ranging 30-minute speech on Saturday at the Hardin County Republican Party's Lincoln Day Dinner, Bunning said he supports conservative judges "and that's going to be in place very shortly because Ruth Bader Ginsburg … has cancer."
"Bad cancer. The kind that you don't get better from," he told a crowd of about 100 at the old State Theater.
"Even though she was operated on, usually, nine months is the longest that anybody would live after (being diagnosed) with pancreatic cancer," he said.
Ginsburg, who is 75, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer earlier this month and surgeons removed a small tumor that had not spread. Doctors termed it a "Stage 1" cancer, meaning they found it in the early stages when it is most curable.
Well, THAT was certainly a failure!
It is ironic that she outlived him. Senator Bunning died in May, 2017
Such a remark by a United States Senator is truly pathetic. He's a moron to speculate on her death, whenever it is. He must be doing some wishful thinking along the lines that she'll be replaced by some mouth-foaming wingnut that he approves of. NOT!
Of course it's pathetic, but now that the maniac has removed all sense of decency in our political discourse it is of no surprise.

It's no secret in Kentucky that Sen. Jim Bunning, a Republican who was expected to coast to reelection on Nov. 2, has been acting strange. Over the past few months, Bunning has angrily pushed away reporters, exchanged testy words with a questioner at a Rotary Club and stuck to brief, heavily scripted remarks at campaign events, delivered in a halting monotone. The former major league baseball star now travels the Bluegrass State with a special police escort, at taxpayer expense. His explanation? Al-Qaida may be out to get him.

Yeah, this should show anyone that RBG has plenty of life left and will never yield her seat to the maniac.
