I'm referring to pretty much all surviving leaders past and present, even ones before Bush.

I blame Wall Street greed and the politicians who failed to regulate it properly.

re the father in law.......why don't YOU let him live with YOU? why must i be FORCED to help this man whom i do not know? what if i am already helping MY neighbor who is having trouble paying the mortgage on his family's house? when the government starts trying to help individuals like this it takes the responsibility away from the neighbors....used to the neighbors would help out each other in times of need, but now they don't feel like they need to, which causes a dissolution of the close-knitt neighborhood.......do you think the government knows which people truly need help (as opposed to the mouchers) better then their neighbors? government should get out of the way and let each neighborhood take care of it's own!! obama, pelosi, reid, and their ilk are tryng to create millions more dependants on the government (the producers of society being their source of revenue) in order to have that power that slave owners used to have over thier slaves. I wonder how half of the country likes being enslaved to the government massa, which provides them food, housing, and some extra spending money in excange for their democrat/socialist vote?

Rand that is what I have been saying for years............ liberalism enslaves people to the government. I used to be a liberal, but over time I realized how destructive it is for people.

These modern day Boston Tea Parties are taking place all around the country. The one outside the CPAC in Washington organized by the American Spectator had about 100 people protesting against the government.
Clip:
The real Boston Tea Party actually came in response to a tax-cut -- the British government cut tea tariffs for the East India Company in the colonies, allowing them to lower their prices and undercut American merchants. That, however, was lost on the crowd Friday, which might not have shared its predecessor's views on taxation but had a similar revolutionary fervor. One of the stars of the show, conservative blogger Michelle Malkin, even greeted the crowd by saying "Hello fellow rebels!"

My guess is that those wealthy elite still making over $250,000 a year
(the only people that will see a tax increase I'm told) ....have *way* too much time on their hands.

"Waaaaa! My tax money is going to help Americans instead of Iraqis...... I quit!"

:P

Yeah, the rest of us won't see any tax increase............. as long as we don't buy gasoline or heating oil.
