The Recorder article has posted so many times it's ridiculous. It's so 2007 and has been debunked by many knowledgeable people. I personally researched and posted articles debunking the claim over on the Raleigh-Durham forum in 2007. If you want to search under my name you can see for yourself.

I loved the driving test TOP GEAR did on the Prius and a BMW 330i beat it on fuel mileage.

Prius reminds me of the reusable toilet wipes I heard about today. Compared to toilet paper they are a bacterial nightmare and to reuse them and wash and dry them, it uses 40 times the amount of energy.

The prius is one of those good intentions, good feelings car but the actual results are poor.
