I'm yet to read an original thought from "freedom" on here. Everything's been forwarded propaganda emails and radio talk show talking points.

Making investments in a collapsing economy to soften the blow and make the economic valley not quite so low for people until the economy corrects itself is a FAR cry from socialism as it's practiced in Venezuela or Cuba. Obama's using this crisis to invest in infrastructure and help businesses transition our energy economy. Many economists agree with this tactic.

You all are working yourself into a frenzy simply because you can point at an "other". But Obama's taking the same course of action Bush took and McCain would have taken (McCain, when asked why he supported the original $800 billion stimulus bill, said, "We're in a crisis. Drastic action is necessary."

Seriously, freedom. As a wise muppet once said, “Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.”

Don't mess with the muppet.

Are you crazy? Just think what a failed presidency would mean to the nation. Bush was really bad--(Iraq, economy, etc.) --but even his presidency did not fail. LBJ may have been worse than Bush (maybe not???) but his presidency did not fail.

Your definition of failure and mine are not compatible.

Bush's economic policies failed when a democratic majority took over banking and gave loans out like crack...

Where were the Lib's, where were the true conservatives?

Whoreing the American economy to the highest default swap derivitive...

Freedom, you may find these two articles interesting read:
American Thinker: Obama's War
At what point will this war on capitalism be called a quagmire and when will Obama pull out?

Some one mentioned fear

American Thinker: Deliver Us from Fear
Face it, we're one scared country.

I'm sure that argument works really well with clerks at grocery stores or when rent comes due to landlords.

God, when are we going to realize that "survival of the fittest" is not the foundation of evolution.
