I hope when you are 85 and incapable of caring for yourself that your kids are not as cruel as you. If you can't make it on your own, they might decide you are just a "parasite" and end your life early.

You know that this is not what Haaziq was saying.

Wow, only took 8 posts for someone to call a fetus a parasite.

I think most everyone would agree (though maybe not out loud) that zygote=embryo=fetus=baby. In a better world, people would look at abortion for what it is - ending a life - and only undergo one after serious consideration.
Luckily, I do believe most women do just that. I also believe that the people who will be on this thread shortly claiming that an embryo is the same as ejaculate really do more to damage their cause then to protect it.

When you are 85, anyone can care for you.

When you are an embryo/fetus, you can only live with the assistance of ONE person.

Big difference.

So how is it not considered murder? Abortion is taking a life. Just because a fetus is not born yet, does not mean its not a human. Thats how we all start.

We are all alive because our mothers gave birth to us and didnt end our lives in the womb.
Oh, surely not this same old same old again? If you don't understand the answers to this by now, you're never going to.

Naturally, you try to twist the meaning of the word around to fit your argument. It doesn't work.

If I reach the point where I am incapable of caring for myself, I would hope my children would have the loving mercy to put me out of my misery because there's no way I would want to be a financial and emotional burden on them.

That's right, voluntary euthanasia. Hell, I've got it in my will, just in case.

If a person kills a pregnant women and the child inside dies they are charged with 2 murders.
If the child inside her is not a living being then how can they be charges with 2 homicides?

It's a paradox of the law, the mother can kill the child and it's not murder, but if anyone else does it is.
