I am not even a big fan of Rush but he made some interesting points today. If Obama is all about transparency, why would'nt he accept Rush's invitation to a debate? Rush also talked about the so called "secret letter" Obama sent to the Russian president about Iran and if Obama was really about change and hope, why wouldn't he let the American people know about the letter before sending it? I never hated Obama but I am starting to realize that all his promises about hope, change and transparency were nothing but empty promises to get him elected,there is absolutely NOTHING about Obama that makes him different from any other politician!
Well, first you must realize that Rush delivers news and he does it with humor as well as with commentary. Rush has been rated by The Sullivan Group as being 99% accurate (which is why Rush claims to be "nearly always right")
Much of the so-called "mainstream" press ignores stories that Rush reports. I think this is the reason many people thinks he lies (he doesn't).

Even I am taken aback at Rush saying anything about Senator Kennedy. That man has had more loose in his life and he has kept right on serving the state of Massachusetts. Is it really right to make fun of someone who is more then likely dying of brain cancer but still does what he can to be present for his duties as senator from MA??
Whether you like him or agree with him or hate him, shouldn't he be off limits at this time in his life when cancer is eating away at his brain??
Maybe most people are not aware of what this man has faced. Set aside his politics.
He was almost killled in a private plane crash in which he broke his back. He started life off with I don't know how many siblings. The eldest died in the way, John F Kennedy was shot in Dallas, Robert was shot in California, JFK Jr. died in a plane crash. Teddy's sister is or was in a mental hospital.
I watched this man when they took video of him as he went out on a destroyer to escort the remains of his brothers son when that plane crashed. Yet Ted Kennedy kept right on going, serving the state that has re-elected him all these years.
