Default For those of you in favor of Universal Health Care

Like anything that is supposed to be free in the USA, it would come at a great cost to us tax payers. We would have to increase our sales taxes, property taxes, small and large business taxes, and income taxes by hummmm 5% (give or take 3%) to cover the cost. Plus after building God knows how many more medical clinics/hospitals across the country and hiring thousands of new doctors and nurses to meet the new demand so that going to the hospital isn't like going to our local DMV, then perhaps we could have a system similar to the way we pay for free education for all of our children.

The good thing that could result from having universal health care for all Americans is that the medical field would be booming and many people who are out of work now could probably be able to find work at those hospitals and clinics that would desperately need construction workers, electricians, janitors, cafeteria workers, nurses, doctors, therapists, and technicians to meet the new demand.
