My favorite is Neal Boortz but I haven't been able to get him for over a year. When I have to drive very far during the daytime hours I listen to Bootz, Limbaugh, and Hannity in that order. I don't mind any of them but only Boortz really gets me going.

Rather have talk radio to listen to different points of view. NPR seems to be the voice of the govenment and global warming crowed.

Yes Neal is great, I podcast him off the internet daily.

I like NPR.... 'This American Life', 'Fresh Air', and 'Science Friday' are my favorites... and.... I don't think they are necessarily political.

Proud member of our local public radio station. :-)

Well, I used to be, then I realized they were angry, predictable hacks who--more or less--had no clue what they were talking about and did nothing but whip people into a frenzy. (This goes for liberal and conservative btw) I have better things to do with my life, honestly.

I DO listen to local talk radio in the morning because I feel like I'm getting real info. After that I tune in to the BBC and sometimes, NPR. Since I stopped listening to the Rush/Hannity crowd, I've become a much happier, less anxious person.

It's bad when you have to read or listen to foreign news to find out what is really going on in the world because the US news media won't

It is sad, but American news sucks, more or less. I remember back in '07 I was watching the BBC world News and saw this aweseome, in depth story about the concept of "Clinton Nostalgia" and how Hillary was trying to capitalize on that to help win the white house. Then I turned to Fox News....only to see an intense, heated debate about.........John Edward's $1200 haircut. I mean, WTH??

After that I decided to stick with foreign news.

I have always considered talk radio as the intellectual equivalent to professional wrestling.
