how many times he he promise he would end them
he would go line by line to end wasteful spending
just because you can not cope with him being a lying hack does not make him less of one

The omnibus bill has been all over the news. The fact that it was signed into law is no secret, yet we're supposed to react to where the bill was signed? Are you kidding? Does it really matter if the bill was signed on national TV, in a football stadium, over lunch, or in a closet? Please, tell me. What difference does it make where the bill was signed?
I don't know, you tell me. Obama likes to have all the other ones on TV so he can read his teleprompters and have his picture taken. For some reason he sign this one in the still of the night with no media.

You start a thread, and then ask me to tell you what its purpose is? C'mon Jenny, now I know you're yanking our chains.

And your point is?

What do you mean "no media?" Once the bill passed Congress, we already knew Obama would sign it. Every media outlet I listened to said this. Were you in the dark?

Are you claiming that Obama tried to trick us? Were you fooled?

And YOU like all the rest have NOT, can NOT , show where he said he would eliminate earmarks....
[Mod edit]

Here's for the backbone challenged who are afraid to google:

From the Obama campaign website:

Shine Light on Earmarks and Pork Barrel Spending: Obama's Transparency and Integrity in Earmarks Act will shed light on all earmarks by disclosing the name of the legislator who asked for each earmark, along with a written justification, 72 hours before they can be approved by the full Senate.

Can ANY of you read? Where does it say he will end earmarks?

Earmarks are NOT evil...they are PART of legislation and always will be....if each request for money was a seperate bill there would be NO time to pass anything....

Where were the cameras? Teleprompter Man loves the cameras and using 20 pens to sign. Where was the show? I missed it!
You must have also missed that closed door meeting that Cheney had with Big Oil. Where were you? Maybe fishing?

I guess Bush should have used a teleprompter too, ya think. I mean his command of the English Language nothing short of atrocious. I also dreaded when he spoke like at the rare press conference he would hold, he acted like an idiot, an embarrassment to say the least.
