I watched this idiot's head almost explode in the couple of minutes I caught him on "Meet The Press". I had to wait and re-read the transcript to make sure I had it right. I won't quote directly, it's too hard, I'll just paraphrase. Feel free to go check for yourself if you think I'm not being accurate.

Cantor: This administration has had since the election in November to evaluate the assets of the banks and they haven't done it!

Host: Well it was the Bush administration that started the evaluation and they weren't able to come up with a plan. (Note, no mention of the fact that Obama didn't take office until January, not November)

Cantor: They need to go in and divide the banks up into three groupls, good, not so good and really bad. And then GET THOSE BAD ASSETS OUT OF THERE.

He doesn't mention where the money will come from for this, neither does the host question him on it. Since Cantor already said he's against a "TARP 3" I guess the tooth fairy and Easter bunny will have to provide the funds.

Later the host, David Gregory asked him if he's so against debt and deficits did he not vote for Bush's deficit spending and increasing the debt.

Cantor: I thought at the time that the most important thing was to protect the troops. (At this point I spit coffee all over my napping dog. It reminded me of the moment in the "Miss Congeniality" where Sandra Bullock realizes she's losing the citizenship competition and finally blurts out, "and the children".

Also I dont' think the Democrats should make the same mistakes that we "may have made". (May have made? You lying trud)

Gregory: So it was OK to do it then, but not now when Warrent Buffet says the economy has been hit like Pearl Harbor?

Cantor: uh, uh, I, I, I, listen. Then he goes on to bring up, once again, the COMPLETELY DISCREDITED "TRAIN TO DISNEYLAND" carp.

Gregory: How many earmarks have you supported?

Cantor: Uh.

Gregory: In congress?

Cantor: Well, I mean, I, I.

Gregory: Because the Democrats have data that you've supported over 46,000 earmarks.

Cantor: But I, along with John Boehner support an end to earmarks.

Gregory: Mmmm, hum.

How many Ds can we talk into moving into this idiot's district so we can vote him out in 2010?

Cantor and Michelle Bachman are the new spokespeople for today's GOP.

That they are total morons kind of sums up why that party is in the shape it's in today.
