I oppose criminal white-collar crime whether it’s in government or corporations. There is a fiduciary responsibility of elected officials, ceos and board of direct members for each of the corporations. These people need to be held accountable for their failures of doing the right thing while collecting income for their services that they were appointed to protect for the stockholders and customers. Failures on their part shouldn’t be a cost to the general public! And should they all should be charged for criminal acts of failures in their positions.

The million dollar bonus question remains.
How does this not amount to a bill of attainder?
Bill of attainder - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A bill of attainder is when legislation is enacted making someone a criminal without the benefit of a trial. Article I, Section 9, Clause 3 of the US Constitution prohibits the practice:

Quote:
No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed.
However, since the 90% tax the House passed on the AIG bonuses was made retroactive to January 1, 2009, it does indeed violate the above Clause.
