Liberals aren't afraid of "freedom of speech." They're afraid of stupid. Because stupid got us 8 years of Bush. And stupid wanted Palin in the White House. And stupid never learns. So yeah, liberals are afraid of stupid.
I'm not sure armed flight attendants are the answer, the bad guys would know just who has firearms and who to target first. I think letting law enforcement carry would help, as would some program to "deputize" citizens with concealed carry permits.
