Has anyone heard from sickofnyc yet? Maybe EVERYONE should send him a private message asking him to come back and clarify his facts for us.
I have a feeling it'll be eerily quiet on the AIG bonus front from Democrat bootlicking apologists today. There'll be more of a preoccupation with threads on Coulter, Fox News, or something else to distract.
Yes, technically, Dodd and/or his staff added the exemption - but you need to examine how and why that happened. Dodd did not intend to include the bonus exemption language in the bill; he/his staff added it because of Obama's administration's and Treasury officials' demands.
"I would have preferred that we kept my language, as it left the Senate unanimously," Dodd added. "In fact there were objections when I wrote the language even before it left the Senate. ... The administration expressed reservations with the amendment. They came to us and asked for modifications in the amendment." Dodd: Treasury Officials Insisted On Weakening Bonus Provision
Say what you will, legislators are responsible for writing legislation. "The devil made me do it..." is not an acceptable justification. It was his name on the amendment, he's accountable. If he really thought it was such a bad idea he should have stood his ground. But you see, it was illegal to deny the bonuses, it still is so their hands were tied. Now they get to act all indignant and point fingers while they screw things up even more.

Clearly, Dodd thinks it is.

True! That's what makes this so comical, ...and sad. What is even more damning is Obama's fake 'outrage' over the bonuses. He knows better; he's an attorney. Either he's an incompetent idiot, or he thinks his supporters are idiots!
I wish people would wise the hell up, and realize they're being played!

How true. I watched his town hall speech on CNN yesterday while waiting for my flight home and I could not believe the acting job he was doing when railing against the AIG bonuses. What a con-artist if I ever saw one. Too bad people still want be believe in this fraud.

And still nothing from sickofnyc. Maybe there is no internet connection in the hole he is hiding in.
